African Activities in Hampshire

African Activities were honored to be invited to launch the New Forest Arts Festival to dignitaries from across the New Forest. Over 50 guests attended a launch evening for a sneak preview of some of this year’s fantastic events.

African Activities provided a drumming workshop and some dance participation.

The launch at Minstead Lodge just outside Lyndhurst, was kindly supplied by Minstead Trust, and was attended by artists, Minstead Trust students, community and business leaders.

New Forest National Park Authority Chairman Oliver Crosthwaite-Eyre said: “We’re looking forward to a fortnight of exciting events, the launch was a fantastic showcase of what is to come across the National Park, with music, dancing and spectacular artwork on display.”
