What an incredible experience we had at Camp Bestival this year!  For the first time, African Activities took to the main stage—and what a moment it was! We couldn’t be more thrilled to have had the opportunity to share our culture, music, and creativity with so many wonderful people.

From energetic drumming workshops that filled the festival nights with rhythm and joy to the soothing kora sessions that offered much-needed calm during the early and mid-mornings, our team truly brought something magical to the festival atmosphere.

Our talented crew also delivered a rich tapestry of storytelling, drawing in young and old alike with tales from West Africa and the Caribbean, while others dived into creative workshops featuring Adinkra art, tie-dye, recycling crafts, and even stone-cast modeling. The creativity and passion displayed by our team were nothing short of inspiring. 

A huge thank you to every member of our incredible crew, the gifted artists, and the masterful drummers who helped bring these workshops and performances to life. Without your hard work, dedication, and spirit, none of this would have been possible. Your energy and talent are what make moments like these unforgettable, and we are so grateful to have shared this amazing journey with you.
