Welcome to African Activities corporate entertainment. We bring a unique high energy interactive entertainment with the opportunity for everyone to get involved.

A variety of entertainment options available. Get everyone moving with the passion of the drums or have a relaxing dinner to the hypnotic melodies of the kora.

What do we offer?

We have a number of musical options including

  • a single Kora player, perfect for unobtrusive in dinner entertainment
  • Keya Bobo - song, drum and dance to get everyone jumping
  • Batlafon orchestra - a beautiful chorus of wood xylophones
  • Interactive
    • Be led by the band with drums at each table
    • Be led by the lead dancer in exciting and entertaining moves!

From short performances to whole evening activities we are happy to work with you to find the perfect fit for your event.

These short sessions are from 15 minutes to an hour and are designed to invigorate and entertain your audience. They can be run as a series of smaller short sessions throughout the day, or as one large energiser to get everyone syncopated. Commonly they are used to:

  • Ice-break and motivate at the beginning of your event
  • To wake everyone up from the post lunch slump!
  • As a rousing finale

You can also mix and match the energiser with a performance of team building events. For example you could make your after dinner entertainment a more interactive experience!

What to expect?

Kwame has been running team building workshops and performing in the UK for 15 years. Our team of highly skilled professional musicians are professional specialists able to engage and entertain - sharing a truly uplifting cultural experience not just drum beats!

Your practitioners will be wearing national dress (not a costume!) and will lead a visual as well as musically exciting session!

How many participants?

As a rough rule of thumb we advise one practitioner for every 40 participants. Maximum group size is limited by the space you have available.  We are currently limited to 1500 drums, but can use body percussion and voice with larger groups.

Please go to the booking pages to see when we are available and get your quick quote. Our office is open five days a week and would be delighted to have a quick chat to ensure we get the correct fit for your event.
