Launching Nightjar Youth Work

Nightjar is growing — and young people are at its heart. We’re thrilled to launch our new Youth Board, led by Nayah, to help guide Nightjar’s future.

Alongside this, we are beginning three exciting strands of youth work:

  • Nightjar Curriculum for Afro-Caribbean societies in colleges and universities.
  • SEND drumming sessions in the New Forest for 16–25 year olds, building joy, rhythm, and confidence in nature.
  • Nightjar Creatives Network, a space for young artists, writers, and musicians to connect and shape cultural change together.

We’re delighted to have secured long-term support to make this possible. It means Nightjar’s youth work can grow steadily and sustainably, with young people leading the way.
