Where our African Drummers are located accross the UK

African Activities head office is in Netley Marsh, Hampshire. Currently we have practitioners serving most of the UK and internationally. The majority of our sessions are schools workshops London and schools workshops West Midlands. However we work across the UK and internationally with corporations and community groups as well as schools.

Kwame is our most experienced practitioner, especially with students with additional needs. He has provided African drumming workshops for schools in many countries in the UK. But he is also able to provide African Art, Adinkra, Storytelling, Dance and mixed arts activities. In the South and south west this includes schools workshops in Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Cornwall and Devon. In the south East and south of the UK he has carried out schools workshops in Sussex, Kent, Essex, London, Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Middlesex. In the Midlands Kwame has been honoured to carry our many schools workshops in Birmingham and of course in Nottingham, Warwick, west Midlands, east Midlands, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

Pape is a skilled dancer and drumming teacher operating from London but able to travel anywhere. As a set musician he plays dundun and dances from Dubai to Dublin! He carries out dance workshops for us across the Midlands, the south and the south east.

We work with a number of Simb Lion dancers and African drummers from Senegal working in Brighton, from here they are able to work across Sussex and in London.

Our drummers based in Liverpool and Warrington are able to offer drumming workshops for schools in Shropshire, Cheshire, Lancashire, West Riding, Yorkshire, Derby and Stafford and Nottinghamshire.

The majority of our African drummers, dancers and mixed arts practitioners are based in the South Central and South East.

Kwaku is a mixed arts practitioner based in Spalding, UK. Kwaku is very willing to travel and has brought his recycling and junk modelling workshops to Blackpool and London based schools. This African arts practitioner offers the full range of arts workshops for schools from his base in Huntington and Peterborough. He has brought African drumming workshops to schools in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. He has also brought storytelling and arts based workshops to schools in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire. Mixed arts workshops for schools remain the most popular option having been delivered in all previous counties plus Rutland, Leicestershire and Nottingham.

We have two practitioners based in Bournemouth. One offers drumming and the other dance based workshops. They have a lively programme of activities in the region. African drumming has been provided for schools in Somerset, Wiltshire, Bath and Hampshire. African dance workshops have been held across the UK and our skilled Bournemouth based dancer has worked in schools in London, Somerset, Hampshire, Wilshire and even Peterborough!
